The Strideview training program specializes in developing horses and riders for hunters, jumpers and equitation. We focus on a strong foundation through correct form, flatwork, gymnastics, and course work. We promote a positive learning environment to instill confidence in both horses and riders!

Jamie Speers

EC Licensed Competition Coach

NCCP Certified Coach

Jamie Speers is an EC Licensed and NCCP Certified Coach with Equestrian Canada and the Coaching Association of Canada. Jamie is experienced in hunters, jumpers and equitation, and provides supportive instruction to all ages and levels of riders. She enjoys teaching the complexities of technique and strategy required in the competition ring.

Coaching

Strideview teaches riders of all ages, with a focus on correct equitation, balance between hand and leg, and effective communication between horse and rider.

Training

We help horses learn confidence and finesse. We teach correct form and self-carriage, which develops able-bodied athletes ready for success. We prioritize longevity and a healthy balance of work and play. We work with young, green horses, and seasoned mounts.

Competition

We strive for preparedness and success in competition, but above all else, promote a safe and enjoyable learning experience for both horse and rider. There are no failures, only learning experiences!

Young Horses

Developing young horses in sport is an amazing experience, and must be done with care, patience, and diligence. Jamie is very experienced in developing young horses as successful hunters and jumpers. Confidence building is key!

Our Team

The Strideview Team is a close-knit group of like-minded individuals that work together to enjoy horses while learning to be better equestrians. Each member is dedicated to their growth as an equestrian, while equally supporting the growth of their teammates.

Facility

We operate out of High Thorn Equestrian, located just south of Stony Plain, Alberta. We enjoy a large heated indoor arena and barn, outdoor sand ring, and a variety of turnout options for the horses.
